A workspace shaped by colour, texture and light
In the heart of Copenhagen, KiraDesign has transformed almost 700 m² of office space at Gammeltorv 24 into a warm and inspiring workplace.
Working with the character of the existing architecture, KiraDesign developed the complete interior concept and followed the project from the first ideas through to the finished space.
Furniture, lighting, colors, textiles, acoustics and costum-made elements have been carefully brought together to create a cohesive environment designed around the people who use it every day.
Throughout the interior, soft materials and expressive colours meet the building’s historic surroundings. Our Knit-Wit lamps form part of the lighting scheme, adding warmth, texture and a sculptural element to the rooms.
The knitted shades gently diffuse the light and contribute to the calm and welcoming atmosphere of the workspace.
The result is a workspace where functionality and character coexist - and where light becomes an integrated part of the interior rather than simply a necessity.
