A sweet new spot in the heart of Vesterbro

A warm and playful new spot in the heart of Vesterbro, where our Workshop W3 Anniversary lamps in Butter Yellow become a natural part of the colourful interior.

On Istedgade in Copenhagen's Vesterbro neighborhood, a new ice cream spot has opened its doors. At Isted 107, warm colors, classic materials and carefully choses details come together in an interior that feels both playful and familiar. As part of the space, our Workshop W3 Anniversary pendant lamps in Butter Yellow have been placed above the counter, bringing a soft and welcoming light to the room.

The muted yellow finish was chosen to complement the existing colour palette rather than compete with it. Against the cream-coloured tiles and deep burgundy surfaces, the lamps add another warm tone to the interior, while their simple shape creates a calm contrast to the graphic grid of the tiled walls.

Originally designed in 1951 by A. Wedel-Madsen, the Workshop Lamp is rooted in the traditional workshop light - an honest, functional lamp where every detail has a purpose. Its familiar silhouette feels particularly at home at Isted 107, where functionality and character naturally go hand in hand.

Suspended above the working counter, the lamps are not only decorative elements in the space. They provide focused light where it is needed while contributing to the atmosphere of the shop — from the first coffee of the day to an afternoon ice cream on Istedgade.

A small space with a strong identity, and a beautiful example of how colour, materials and light can work together to create an inviting everyday setting.
